I totally failed to do...anything at all over these past couple days, mostly because I've been really sick. BUT HERE'S A FEW MORE PAGES.
You may notice they get steadily sketchier until page six is basically just a bunch of scribbly lines. But um yes. Page three is my new favorite page. I think this catches me up to yesterday, and I'm working on page seven now, so it'll probably be up later today. I could have just waited until I was done with page seven to post all of these, but lalalala I don't care!
( Pages 3-6. Hyde has a swearing-fit on page three. )

I'm busy alllll day tomorrow(today) so I'm posting this a bit early. Don't be confused though, this is where you share your word counts and excerpts for day 7.
I hope you're doing well, don't forget there is a word war this weekend :)

. . . um. So,
weirdlet requested a Jet or Song icon based on a Billy Joel lyric from me! Flattering, right? :D Of course it's flattering!
Flattering enough for me to get carried away and make twenty icons of Jet, Song, and Jet/Song in one sitting?
NOT REALLY, but I did anyway. XD
Comment/credit, you know the drill!

I have the word counts up to and including Thursday for Erato (individual totals and the team's combined total) but I still need them for Clio and Calliope.

Okay so this one is written as "Puppy training" but Ash thinks it should be "A Walk in the Park." I kind of like hers better, so let's just pretend that's the name of it, alright?

( NanoMangO Day Six )
That's our Snarf. He's much better than he used to be. He's just a puppy. ^_^

this week i've been rechecking my habits and just wednesday I slipt tio my olds ways and quickly see what was up.
so no I didnt do pages wednesday or thursday but now that I know what I was doing wrong I'm going to keep developing good habits.
( 2 more pages )
I'm having serious problems with faces so I'm going to do some sketch practices for the weekend but I hop to have 4 pages done over the weekend. Also hope to make about 15 pages next week (lol, we'll see about that, cause my dad is coming to town and he loves attention)

So Saturday I awoke (not hungover! Heck yes!), and for the first time ever, I had absolutely no idea what costume to wear. I'm always the kind of cosplayer to schedule exactly when I'm going to don a costume well in advance, but Cliff isn't, so I dropped my schedule in order to be more flexible (so I'd actually get to wear my costumes with him). He mentioned not wanting to do Monarch early in the day, so I suggested we go ahead and get Prince Phillip and Briar Rose over with- so we did. Anyway, we woke up at about 10 to noise from below-- turns out, we had an AWESOME view of the Dragon*con parade from our balcony! We watched most of it, then decided to nap since we'd been out since 5 am the night before. I don't remember when we woke up and got dressed, but I think we didn't make it back to the con (especially since free food was available 20 feet from our room) until 5 pm. AGAIN. Note to self: staying out til 5am is not worth missing a good chunk of daylight at Dragon*con.
( Honestly, I don't remember as many details on Saturday, so I'm just skipping to the pictures! )
And that ends Part 2: Saturday. Part 3 will conclude my Dragon*con report with both Day 3 and Day 4.

Finished the sixth page one minute to midnight! I'm rather proud of myself actually...
These are just very messy sketches with the background filled in because they looked even more ridiculous with only a white background; if my handwriting is too impossible to read I can add transcriptions, or something, next to each page ^^;;
( pages 2-6 - with a quick visit from monty python. not. )
Aaaand since I'm lazy and this was a really cute counter:

Photoshop decided it'd be nice to crash right after I'd finished sketching everything out, so I had to redo the whole thing. Damn you, photoshop D=< I really rushed this page for some reason, but I don't think it's too bad >.>

It's THAT epic.

So, just when you think, "Dragon*con, is it even possible for you to be better than last year?" It totally is. Of course, it had its moments where I thought, "I wish D were here this year..." or "I wish Cliff weren't being a jerk..." (mostly cellular service providers were behind this), but for the most part? GLORIOUS. I have a few regrets, like not spending enough time with my friends (because, let's be honest, I spent a lot of time with Cliff's main group... in fact, HE even feels like he spent too much time with just one group!), but for the most part, another absolutely wonderful year at THE BEST geek convention in the United States. OH YEAH. I WENT THERE.

Okay, so possibly this is a case of me being too familiar with something and assuming everyone else has the same familiarity with it. I apologise. This is one of those things I should point out every year for people who are new and just doing NaNo for the first time. Here goes.
DON'T DELETE ANYTHING
Okay, you can backspace to correct a misspelling, but don't delete anything else. Really. If it bugs you put stars around it (**) and delete it in December, but leave it in your novel for goodness sakes. In your imagination replace the delete key with a button that says "NaNo: You're doin' it wrong"
Don't delete anything in NaNoWriMo.
It's crap. We get it. It's supposed to be crap. Leave it there. Really. The first draft of anything is shit -- Hemmingway said that. It's true! The point of NaNo isn't to create a masterpiece, it's to create a first draft. Of shit. To get the story out.
It's about 50,000 words. Not 50,000 good words and the words you delete aren't there anymore so they don't count. Leave them in.
Especially if you're on my team.
<.<
>.>
LoL Just kidding. But seriously. Don't delete things. Really.
